It’s the first day of fall…and well, when in the world did THAT happen? It’s been so gorgeous outside so it’s pretty hard to believe that soon the leaves will turn into golden shades of brown, yellow and orange. And then of course comes the fun of raking them into piles so we can jump into them, am I right?
It’s funny to make the decor transition, but it becomes part of the changing of seasons, isn’t it? The bright colours fade and in come the warm hues…but I’m more of a neutral decor with white accents kinda gal. I’ve been obsessed with white pumpkins for years now and I’m looking forward to our annual trip out to the patch to pick out a dozen or so. Raisin loves choosing his own plus some fun looking gourds because they’re “silly” pumpkins as he calls them. I had to look up some inspiration to kick start the mood because although it’s officially fall, I’m in a liiiiiitle bit of denial. Either way I’m sure once we hit the patch it’ll all sink in and the white pumpkins scattered throughout the house will put me in the spirit.
