Raisin is obsessed with these PreK books! We picked them up at a store called Scholars Choice and it couldn’t have been a better decision. You can only stand so much colouring and playing with cars after awhile. Lately this has been his go to. We have a book in the car for our mini journeys, and a few in the house that he can do while I’m prepping dinner, or we’re in between activities.
Don’t be fooled, this kid watches his share of Paw Patrol. We like to have a nice balance of learning, fun and of course some indulgent treats like the apple TV. What I like about these books (aside from the obvious that they’re educational and he learns something) is that I get to be involved at home with developing his little mind, and I get to see it first hand! It’s one thing to get all his papers in his mail box at school and see what he did for the day, but it’s another to do some numbers or alphabet work with him.
We’re always on the look out for educational activities, motor skill development and fun places to visit as a family that we can all enjoy. Pinterest is an awesome source for ideas, but if you have any suggestions I’m all ears!
