We had some CRAY-ZEE wind happening here last week. The kind where it actually pushed you if you were walking outside, and if you were biking against the wind…well, good-luck. Honestly the wind didn’t bother me all that much. It’s not like I work outside, and it wasn’t so bad that it could keep us from being out in the backyard. I did curse it though when I got home though and discovered the wind had torn our gazeebo roof into shreds. Who knew one little tear would get annihilated by 70km winds? Bummer but at least damage was minimal and nothing flew into a window or anything more traumatizing and dig deeper into our wallets.
We hit up Rona a few days later and found a replacement. As an added bonus, we received 20% off because we landed a fluke celebration of some sort that was happening there that day only. Once we were there it was hard not to cruise around the outdoor living area, and then steam roll our Rona visit into HomeSense down the road. I honestly LOVE the summer because we extend the square footage of our home by being outside all day when the weather cooperates. That said I want to be in a “pretty” space and I get SUPER excited to transform snow piles into wonderful colours and lush living. Every year we add a new nicknack or idea to tack on to what already works for us. I’ve been cruising around the net for some inspiration and man do I have a lot of work cut out for me after finding the above gems. Time to narrow down the scope and hack away the weeds to get this living area going!
