Well…. it’s finally happened. Gasp! I’ve decided to grin and bear it and post my first free printable download. I’m new to trying this out so please be kind. I’m not a professional graphic designer by trade (or by any means), but it’s something I love playing around with in my spare time and have always enjoyed.
While I was assembling The Raisins’ Valentine’s Day baggies for his school friends, I decided hell why not! I have people asking me to make them little things like this on the side as one offs, so maybe, just maybe other people may have use for these too.
Obviously these have The Raisin’s name on them in the photos, but the printable version is generic and simply say “XOXO Hugs and Kisses.” If you have use for them, great! Let your creativity take you wherever these tags may. I like simplicity…mainly because I like the way it looks, and sometimes it just means things come together quickly instead of having a bunch of add ons.
For Raisin’s baggies I cut out the printable circles, then I used my scalloped circle punch on some red cardstock. Then I just glued the printable right onto the card stock. To seal the bag shut, I used double sided tape on the back of the printable and placed it right overtop of the folded edge. For an extra touch, I used a rubber stamp on the back of the baggie with the saying “all you need is love.”
I’m pretty sure as the years go by Raisin will have more input of how he’d like his gift bags for his buddies to look. As for now, this is how it goes. And maybe I’ll include more printables if this works out for a few of ya. Hope you all have a Valentine’s Day filled with x’s and o’s.
